I enjoy cooking with wine but don't always ........

Couple of tips:

· Try to use screw cap wine so when you re-seal the wine no air gets in

· Use one of those vacuum pumps to suck the air out of the bottle and leave in the rubber stopper, you might get an extra day of usage by using the pump

· Place both white and red wines in the fridge over night, take the red wine out of the fridge about 1 hour before you wish to use/drink it

· Light whites you might get a day or two, heavy whites maybe three

· Light reds two to three days and heavy reds a little longer

Wine hates light and oxygen the less it sees of both the longer it lasts.
