The Cloudy Bay 2019 Pinot Noir is dark-fruited and appealingly aromatic on the nose. There is an immediate sense of depth, with notes of bramble fruit, graphite and morello cherry. Fine, well-integrated silky tannins frame apalate of victoria plum, logan berry and autumnal fruit, which are balanced by a bright, juicy acidity. Long on the finish and exceptionally more-ish.
